Description

Hospitals and clinics may be seen as the traditional place to receive healthcare, but they are not the source of health. Good practices must begin at home and patients must take care of themselves rather than waiting to end up in a hospital. Due to the sheer volume of patients seen, hospitals must learn to transform, becoming more time-efficient to continue to provide high-quality care in volume. In addition, public and private collaborations continue to increase, reducing public-sector backlogs and making more efficient use of resources.

This chapter will explore how hospitals are redefining care, which initiatives are proving most efficient and how to reduce costs without losing quality. Interviews with providers will reveal which solutions are being implemented and hospitals and clinics will share insight into their business.

-> How does your company help redefine care for patients and the business of healthcare? How are you improving patient-centricity? How do you measure your success as a business?
