Intro: As Peña Nieto’s term comes to an end, the industry is preparing itself to wade through a transitional period marked by a new presidential term. Reflecting the incoming changes, this chapter will encompass a wish list from leading decision-makers in both the public and private sectors to create a picture of what the industry envisions as the future of mining in Mexico. It additionally discusses ways to keep the sector ahead of the curve and remain one of the world’s top mining destinations.
